WOMEN AND THE GOSPEL OF RECONCILIATION (Doug Phillips)
On the FreeCWC YOUTUBE Channel!
Pastor Doug Phillips explores the Biblical basis for women in ministry, noting that Jesus anointed women -- even daughters -- to speak, teach and preach the Gospel of Reconciliation and Redemption with boldness.
The overriding principle in the Gospel concerns unity and reconciliation as opposed to division. Jesus came to tear down walls, and the history of the New Testament unfolds in a pattern and context establishing unity through healing.
Pastor Doug Phillips examines the reasons behind Paul's directives regarding church conduct for women, explaining the cultural issues that no longer apply today. He emphasizes the heart of the Gospel: Redemption and Reconciliation, and these things are not withheld from any Believer in any way on the basis of gender or race.
Pastor Doug Phillips concludes his presentation by pointing out the qualities of redemption and reconciliation in the Kingdom of God and how this differs from the kingdoms of this world. Gender teachings that limit women divide the Body of Christ and work against the redemptive plan of Jesus Christ.
