No matter how many cups of tea we pour, we will never change the minds of the Afghan people regarding women. You can see it reflected in the Views on Vatican paper letters to the editor. We still think women are inferior, to be submissive, and if we can't change our minds, how on earth are we going to change their minds. Our soldiers come home and go to a Catholic church or a Baptist church, and see that women are inferior. Women soldiers come home and are told they are to submit to their husbands just like the women in Afghanistan are told. They are giving their lives to help free women in Afghanistan, and the women in American churches are not free.
